The mark certifies that Ciam’s quality management system complies with the standards of ISO 9001:2015. The process management has been successfully renewed and improved for about 20 years.
The ETL mark has been issued by Intertek for a wide range of product categories. This certification attests to their compliance with the food and electrical safety standards of the North American market, in particular with the following standards:
UL471, UL197, CAN/CSA (security)
NSF/ANSI 7, NSAF/ANSI 2, NSF/ANSI 4 (sanitation);
Ciam’s in-house laboratory is accredited by Intertek America (SATELLITE level nb. 3) to carry out tests according to the standards listed above.
The mark certifies the compliance (or conformity) with the essential requirements for the sale and use in the European Union (EU) of Ciam products. This correspondence has also been verified by external organisations with ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories.
The SASO (Saudi Arabian Standards Organization) mark indicates that a product complies with Saudi Arabian standards. This mark is compulsory for export to this country.
The CMim mark indicates compliance with Moroccan standards:
– Order 2573-14: Low Voltage Products.
– Order 2574-14: Electromagnetic Compatibility
This mark is essential for export to Morocco.
ECODESIGN AND ENERGY LABELLING
As of 1 March 2021, commercial refrigeration appliances intended for display and direct sales must comply with Regulation 2019/2024, which establishes environmentally friendly design requirements. In addition, in accordance with the 2019/2018 regulation, energy labelling of products will be mandatory.
The mark certifies that the products comply with Kuwaiti electrical safety standards. It is issued by an external organisation following an on-site inspection of a specific order.
The Declaration of Conformity for MOCA (Materials and Objects in Contact with Food) is a certification necessary to guarantee compliance with specific compulsory requirements in terms of food hygiene. The MOCA declaration guarantees the customer the conformity of the materials used by Ciam which come into contact with the food product, leaving its properties and quality unaltered.
The EAC certificate of conformity (Eurasian Conformity mark) is an attestation of conformity that confirms with the mark affixed to products that they have been considered and assessed as complying with the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Customs Union.
The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) mark is the new UK product certification that replaces the CE mark after the UK’s exit from the European Union. It was established under the UK version of EU Regulation 756/2008 on accreditation and market surveillance.
