Bar Galatea – Mondello

Located in the heart of Mondello’s seaside village, Bar Galatea comes back to life inside an elegant 1920s building, restored with full respect for its original details and the architectural harmony of the surroundings. The interior design project thoughtfully interprets the dual soul of the context: pastel green tones, natural textures, coffered ceilings, and contemporary boiserie shape a bright, welcoming environment deeply connected to the hues of the Mediterranean landscape.

In this refined setting, CIAM enhances both the functionality and elegance of the venue with a fully custom-designed supply. The display area dedicated to pastry and gelato features 6040 semi-finished showcases equipped with TS welded display cases, complete with 90° sliding openings to ensure maximum ergonomics during service. To complete the operational layout, CIAM provided refrigerated and ambient bar counters from the Standard line, engineered to integrate seamlessly with the venue’s style. Some units include glycol-cooled pozzetti, a technology that guarantees precise, reliable, and uniform temperature control—ideal for preserving ingredients and bases that are always ready for use.

The integration of CIAM’s display systems with the project’s architectural language creates a perfect balance between design, technology, and functionality, enhancing the elegant and contemporary identity of the new Bar Galatea.
