CIAM at the forefront of MILAN DESIGN WEEK 25

Two locations, one vocation: to narrate and experience design as an immersive journey through material, space, and innovation.
The 2025 edition of Milan Design Week, one of the most prestigious events for international design, has just concluded. This significant edition, held from April 7 to 13, saw the Umbrian brand make a dual appearance: within its showroom at Via Pastrengo 12, in the heart of the Isola Design District, and among the leading brands at Elle Decor Alchemica, the exhibition-installation curated by Elle Decor Italia in the prestigious spaces of the historic Palazzo Bovara. A dual setting and a double event that elevated the visions and connections of a brand that has always thrived on design and innovation.
Elle Decor Alchemica, Palazzo Bovara
A prestigious presence saw CIAM among the protagonists of ‘Elle Decor Alchemica,’ a project that depicted the home as an ever-evolving organism, conceived and curated by Patricia Urquiola (concept and exhibition design), in collaboration with Valerio Tiberi of k5600design (lighting design), Antonio Perazzi (landscape design), and with the contribution of netsuke studio (exhibition design coordination). The exhibition was structured around the three fundamental phases of the alchemical process – ‘Nigredo,’ ‘Albedo,’ and ‘Rubedo’ – each of which found expression in specific environments corresponding to the most representative spaces of the home. ‘Elle Decor Alchemica’ was not just an exhibition-installation involving over 50 companies recognized in the Elle Decor Italia project, but also an opportunity for a poetic and intuitive reflection on the evolution of living. In this context of excellence, CIAM showcased the revolutionary MOON Line cocktail station – part of the 4Mixology project – integrated into a custom bar counter designed for the occasion by Patricia Urquiola. Positioned in the cloister of Palazzo Bovara, the CIAM station, made of brushed steel, was fully embedded within an island/bar approximately five meters long, clad in red pietra compattata and operational for the preparation of cocktails and beverages during the evening events.
CIAM Showroom
A permanent and well-established presence, CIAM has been a key player for the past year within its Milan showroom at Via Pastrengo 12, a space designed and set up by Fabrizio Milesi to be fluid and open to visual experiences that narrate contemporary influences. For the occasion of MDW 25, the journey was marked by vertical geometric structures, where reflection and color contributed to interpreting the surrounding space, guiding visitors through the latest innovations presented by the company. A dynamic and engaging experience, which, through a captivating alternation of reflections and visual multiplications, highlighted new perspectives of the CIAM showroom, like a sensory journey between light and reflections.
